California, here I come!

This is the part of the story where I ask you to pinch me. Am I really traveling to California today?

Just about a month ago, I was restless, excited and anxious. I wondered if leaving a steady job to pursue a dream would work out, all the while trusting God that it would, in fact, work out.

I have faith in God that, as long as I follow Him, my family will be more than ok. I believe He really does cause all things to work together for good.

Today, I’m feeding my faith with action!

I’m unbelievably getting to live out part of this crazy story of faith by getting on an airplane and flying back home to do what I love: sing.

I say “home” because even though I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, and part of my heart will always be there, California was the place where my hubby and I really established our home as newlyweds. We saw our children born in the Golden State. We fell in love with San Francisco.

It’s almost symbolic that, at the beginning of this new journey, pursuing music, speaking and writing full time, I’m getting to do it in such a special place.

I only wish I could take my family with me!

Hopefully, we can plan another trip soon.
In the meantime, if you’re near Sacramento, I’d love to see you. I’ll be singing, leading worship here:

Sunday, February 28, 2016/10am/The Ridge Church/Lincoln, CA

Sunday, March 6, 2016/10am/The Ridge Church/Lincoln, CA

Sunday, March 6, 2016/2pm/Vida Church, Sacramento, CA

I can’t wait to sing and lead worship at my old church. I can’t wait to see old friends! I might hug random strangers, so watch out! Lol

But I want to encourage YOU today. If God ever puts something on your heart: a dream, a talent, a passion. Pursue Him about how to pursue it. He will guide You. And be assured, the world needs what you have to offer. They will miss out if you don’t shine your light brightly for Jesus as only you were created to shine.

“Hold firmly to the word of life; then, on the day of Christ’s return, I will be proud that I did not run the race in vain and that my work was not useless.”

‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2:16‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Love you!
